Ways to help

We Need Your Help!

Why?

We are passionate about Littlehampton and it broke our hearts to see an empty community space. The building, formerly home to the Tamarisk Centre, had been empty for several years and had sadly fallen in to disrepair, so it took a lot of love to bring it back to life!

As an independent, community interest company we will operate as a not-for-profit so have to raise all of our own funds for both setting up and ongoing running costs. We believe that as a community we can come together and provide something our town really needs.

With your help we can create something beautiful!

Progress!

Our original plan to open just the downstairs in May 2020 was delayed by Covid 19. Although this was very disappointing it turned out to be a blessing as we subsequently had a crack appear in the floor and another leak from the roof.

We spent lockdown working hard on repairing that damage and starting on the upstairs renovations.

We have repaired further cracks and leaks, cleaned mould, and redecorated extensively.

We have created a beautiful cafe, craft room, therapy room, studio, garden, conference room, accessible changing room, two toilets, a hotdesking office and a chapel. We are currently working on the sensory room and salon.

It has been a very challenging couple of years both physically and financially, however we were finally able to open our cafe in July!
